Used Yamaha WR250F for sale
The Yamaha WR250F is a 250cc four stroke enduro bike, built for the bush and usually registrable, so it turns up with hours or kilometres.
5 Yamaha WR250Fs are listed on MWMX right now (2015 to 2025 models), asking $5,500 to $14,000, most around $10,000. Every listing shows the hours, photos and where the bike is, and you can message the seller or make an offer without an account.
On a used Yamaha WR250F ask about the valve clearances and when the top end was last done, and whether it has been raced or trail ridden. Check the registration, the radiators and fan, the skid plate and handguards for the hits they have taken, the rear wheel bearings and that the hours (or kilometres) line up with the wear on the pegs, grips and sprocket. Ask for the service history (members log theirs in the MWMX Digital Garage and it shows on the listing), look at the hours against the price, and check the frame and swingarm for cracks, the fork seals for weeping and the linkage and steering head bearings for play.

Good to know
- How much is a used Yamaha WR250F?
- The Yamaha WR250Fs listed on MWMX today are asking $5,500 to $14,000, with most around $10,000. Year, hours and whether it has been raced move the price more than anything else; a bike with a logged service history sells faster and for more.
- How many hours is a lot on a Yamaha WR250F?
- On a race four stroke under 50 hours is low, 50 to 100 is normal and over 100 wants a service history to go with it. The number that matters is hours since the last top end, valve check or rebuild, so ask for that rather than the total.
