MWMX Journey

Family Legacy
Born in rural Victoria, Kale Makeham grew up immersed in a family of passionate motorcycle enthusiasts. The roots of MWMX trace back to the mid-20th century with Kale’s grandfather, Maurie, whose love for motorcycling ignited a legacy that inspired Kale’s father and, ultimately, Kale himself. Driven by this heritage, Kale founded MWMX with a heartfelt mission to make a lasting, positive impact on the sport of motorcycling.
The Spark Ignites
In 1998, Kale rode his first motorcycle, instantly falling in love with the sport. Over the next decade, he dedicated himself to competing in local and national competitions, with his family by his side, cheering him on. These experiences deepened his passion for motorcycling, setting the stage for his future endeavors.

A Champion Rises
In 2003, Kale achieved significant racing success, becoming a champion in his category. His dedication and natural talent began to distinguish him from his peers, and he gained recognition in the Australian motorcycling community. This period marked the emergence of a true competitor who would go on to inspire many young riders.

New Path
Kale’s professional racing career concluded in 2017, leading him to explore new horizons. He initially ventured into civil construction as a machinery operator and later launched a concreting business. Yet, his passion for motorcycling remained unwavering. In his spare time, Kale devoted afternoons and weekends to coaching young riders at local tracks and clubs, nurturing the next generation of talent.

Full Commitment to Coaching
By 2020, Kale’s coaching endeavors had gained momentum, prompting him to close his concreting business and fully dedicate himself to Kale Makeham Coaching. He traveled across Australia, sharing his expertise at various clubs, and launched his first coaching website, marking the start of his online journey. During this time, Kale also initiated promotions, raffling off TTR110 motorcycles to support the Blue Tree Project charity, blending his passion with a commitment to giving back.

The Rise of MWMX
With coaching demand soaring and online engagement flourishing, Kale’s vision evolved into the MWMX brand. The launch of the MWMX App marked a significant milestone, accompanied by increasingly ambitious promotions. Today, MWMX boasts tens of thousands of users, hosts in-person events nearly every weekend, and has awarded over $1.9 million in prizes, with more than $50,000 donated to support Australian motorcycling, solidifying its impact on the sport.
