Used Suzuki RM250 for sale
The Suzuki RM250 is a 250cc two stroke motocross bike, built for the track and sold on hours rather than kilometres.
3 Suzuki RM250s are listed on MWMX right now (2001 to 2008 models), asking $6,500 to $17,000, most around $8,500. Every listing shows the hours, photos and where the bike is, and you can message the seller or make an offer without an account.
A Suzuki RM250 is cheap to keep but ask when the piston was last done: a race two stroke wants a top end every 20 to 40 hours. Check for a clean, unscored bore, a working power valve, no crank seal leaks (smoke on the pipe side, or gearbox oil going down) and that the pipe is not caved in. Ask for the service history (members log theirs in the MWMX Digital Garage and it shows on the listing), look at the hours against the price, and check the frame and swingarm for cracks, the fork seals for weeping and the linkage and steering head bearings for play.

Good to know
- How much is a used Suzuki RM250?
- The Suzuki RM250s listed on MWMX today are asking $6,500 to $17,000, with most around $8,500. Year, hours and whether it has been raced move the price more than anything else; a bike with a logged service history sells faster and for more.
- How many hours is a lot on a Suzuki RM250?
- Hours on a two stroke are about the top end, not the bike: a fresh piston resets the clock. Under 20 hours since a top end is fresh; the bottom end (crank and main bearings) is good for 150 to 250 hours on most two strokes before it wants doing.
