Buy the best fitting helmet you can afford. The top of each range is lighter and better ventilated; the mid range has the same certification and rotational protection (MIPS or equivalent) at half the price. Fit matters more than the model.
Measure around the head just above the eyebrows and ears, in centimetres, and match it to the size chart on the listing. A new helmet should be snug on the cheeks and not move when you shake your head; it packs out a little with use.
